Next Production

The Sevenoaks Players entry in this year`s National One-Act Play Competition, is directed by our mutual member, Stuart McCreadie and the cast includes Don Short, who played Badger in the recent WADS production of “Wind in the Willows”. This new one-act play is called “Why” and is written by Sevenoaks` author Alison Pritchard. It is set on death row in an American prison and is a thought provoking drama, which asks questions about sacrifice, responsibility and obligation, against a complex family background.  This will be a preview performance at Westerham Hall and the first time the play has ever been performed in front of an audience.  The author will be joining us on the night and will be happy to hear any views after the show.  The Sevenoaks Players will round off the evening on a light-hearted note, with two short comedy pieces.  Entrance is free and the BAR opens from 7.30 p.m.
